DO NOT wear leopard print. DO NOT do it. You are in the wild. You do not need to confuse the animals. Maybe paint nails Leopard! That is it!! Also DO NOT wear CAMO! DO NOT Wear Black-attracts mosquitos. We went in South Africas winter so we did not even see one, but if you are in a season of mosquitos DO NOT WEAr BLACK. DO NOT dress like a ZEBRA either.

Lets talk HATS-the cute wide Brim

Hats you see in all the Ralph Lauren Ads are only practical when you are not driving in the open air. Otherwise the brim will bend back. It is fine if you hold on to the hat on your lap so when Defender stops you can put it on, however if you are adventurous you need your hands free to hang on while tracking the animals. I wore a cute bucket hat on the hot days and it worked great.

What to WEAR.

Cargo pants-flat boots.

Shorts-with sneakers is completely fine if it is not mosquito season. Otherwise cover those legs up.

I loved a white button down, overalls, lululemon sets. I layered with neutral color jackets. I did purchase a green north face lightweight for packing. Also a cute ALO

Fuzzy cream one. Mornings were cold but they always had warming pads and blankets on the Defenders. We stopped for hot coca and coffee mid morning too.

Think colors like khaki, green , whites, creams and browns.

I did splurge and purchase some Danner boots from free people. They were perfect, complete with orthotics inside.
